This training is designed for providers seeking to strengthen their understanding of evidence-based approaches to treating Anxiety Disorders. Participants will gain an overview of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (E/RP), with practical guidance on how to integrate these techniques into their therapeutic practice. Strategies for tailoring interventions to the unique needs of children, adolescents, and their caregivers will also be emphasized, equipping clinicians with concrete skills to promote more effective distress tolerance and emotional regulation.
About the Presenter:
Jaimee Arnoff, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and co-owner of BFF Therapy in Beacon, NY, where she provides individual and family therapy with a focus on adolescents and young adults. She specializes in evidence-based treatment for mood and anxiety disorders, suicidal ideation, chronic pain, and high-risk clinical presentations.
