This workshop will provide education about the basic principles of mindfulness interventions, its relationship with mental health, and how to incorporate it into treatment planning. Participants will be able to describe mindfulness tools, how mindfulness can be used to improve mental health, and design treatment plans that incorporate mindfulness interventions .
Qualifications:
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years providing mental health services with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, yoga therapy, and mindfulness coaching.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will be able to identify and describe at least 3 mindfulness tools.
- Participants will be able to describe at least 3 ways mindfulness can be used to improve mental health.
- Participants will be able to incorporate at least 3 mindfulness interventions into a therapeutic treatment plan.
